Mark is an award-winning professional photographer and owner of Manhattan Beach Studios, with credits including Astronomy Today, Sky & Telescope, National Geographic and more for nearly 30 years. Mark specializes in photo education, and practices in complex photographic techniques, including high speed, macro, action/pro sports, timelapse, storm/weather and astrophotography. His studio photographs portrait, product and commercial work as well as a wide range of video, live streaming and special effects.
Mark has worked in the Arctic, Antarctica and throughout much of the rest of the world, has taught more than 200 photography courses and has been published in many leading publications including Astronomy Today and Sky & Telescope. In 2007 Mark founded the South Bay Creative Photography Club, now with more than 1900 members.
